Does Your 6-to-12-Year-Old Daughter Love Soccer? If So, Read On…
Does your daughter (granddaughter, niece, stepdaughter, etc.) love to play soccer? If so, this article is for you! Girls, ages 6-to-12-years, are being invited to the Girls’ 6th Annual Soccer Clinic led by the 2019 Yucaipa High School (YHS) Girls’ Soccer Team.
The clinic will be held at the YHS Football Field from 8:30 to 1130 a.m. The event will be held rain or shine but the YHS Soccer Team asks that if it rains that participants bring tennis shoes for the clinic. Registration for the clinic will be $20 per participant payable to YHS Girls’ Soccer Team.
Although the clinic begins at 8:30 a.m., registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. Early registration can be completed by dropping off the form and payment in the YHS Counseling Office between the hours of 7:30 a.m. ad 4:00 p.m. Registration and payment that are received before 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12 will receive a free “Future T-Bird YHS Girls’ Soccer” T-Shirt. Registrations can still be accepted after Dec. 12 and on the day of the clinic, but the “Future T-Bird” T-Shirt is only available to early registrations.
Each participant must have a parent or guardian present to sign in for each girl on the day of the clinic and to sign the liability/medical release form. And, to add to the day’s fun, after the clinic stay for the Annual YHS Alumni Soccer Game at 12:00 p.m. The young soccer clinic participants will see that soccer is not just a game for kids but for men – and women – of all ages.
