Coaches, players announced for 2nd Annual Inland Valley Hall of Fame Football All-Star Classic
Yucaipa High School’s Coach Justin Price to serve as coach for Eastern San Bernardino County All-Stars
The Inland Valley Hall of Fame’s coaches and football players have been announced for the second annual game set for Sunday, Jan. 29 at AB Miller High School in Fontana at 5:30 p.m. The game is San Bernardino County’s premier high school football all-star event pitting east versus west San Bernardino County teams against each other.
Yucaipa High School’s Coach Justin Price will serve as coach for Eastern San Bernardino County All-Stars. The eastern all-stars hail from San Bernardino County high schools east of the 15 freeway as well as the High Desert. The western county team will be coached by Ayala High School’s (Chino Hills) Coach Arthur Gracia.
Forty-two players comprise the eastern San Bernardino County team including five Yucaipa High School players. Those players include: Nathan Martinez, quarterback; Cade Gorrell, running back; Paul Bakenhus, offensive lineman; Frank Lemos, offensive lineman; and, Joseph Simmons, defensive lineman.
Brian “Coach B” Arrington, on-air personality for IE Sports Net, will serve as the game coordinator. IE Sports Net can be heard on Fox Sports 1350.
Due to the generous support of multiple sponsors the Football All-star Classic is being played at no cost to its student players. Additionally, as part of this year’s game, select San Bernardino County sports legends will be inducted into the Inland Valley Sports Hall of Fame during half time.
