Yucaipa Police ask for public’s help in identifying two suspects who robbed local Valero store

The Yucaipa Police Department has issued a request for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects who robbed the Valero gas station at gunpoint at 35112 Wildwood Canyon on Jan. 16. Surveillance camera video of the incident has captured the incident and has been released by the Yucaipa police to aid the public in helping to identify the suspects.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16 two black adult males entered the Valero store. One of the suspects robbed the store employee of cash from the register at gunpoint with an unknown type of handgun while the other suspect stole several packs of cigarettes. The suspects then exited the store and proceeded to walk northbound on California Street.

The suspects are described as:
• Black adult male, approximately 5’9” wearing a gray sweatshirt, dark-colored sweatpants, white tennis shoes, black gloves and wearing eyeglasses
• Black adult male, approximately 6’ wearing a black sweatshirt, blue sweatpants and black tennis shoes
