Two Opportunities at YPAC — Arts Education Teachers Needed, Two Galleries for Exhibiting Artwork
Yucaipa’s Performing Arts Center (YPAC) continues to add new opportunities for arts and entertainment development of all types – musical concerts of multiples genres, theater productions, arts classes, dance performances and more. YPAC is also available as a venue rental for such occasions as corporate meetings/seminars, non-profit events, social events, commercial use, fundraisers, receptions, tasting events, bridal shows and even weddings.
Two new opportunities are now available at YPAC – teaching for the Arts Education Program and exhibiting your artwork at the YPAC galleries. Both are indicative of YPAC’s continual quest to find new ways for the public to be involved in and enjoy the arts in Yucaipa.
YPAC’s Arts Education is now seeking arts education teachers, on a contract basis, to trail blaze the program. Educators who enjoy teaching students of all ages, are passionate about the arts, and who have a history of teaching music, acting, writing, and performance should plan to apply for this unique opportunity. Design a course you would like to teach at YPAC and then submit an outline of the course and a history of your teaching background to Margo Mullen at YPAC as noted below.
YPAC’s two galleries are an opportunity for artists to exhibit their artwork and the venue has opened up applications for artists and their work to be considered for exhibit. The objective of the YPAC Galleries is to provide free exhibition space and opportunities for artists to showcase their artwork, increase the awareness of local art within the Inland Empire, and create an engaging space for arts dialogue, education, and enrichment. There is a gallery application on our website – please apply if you are interested! The application can be found at: https://yucaipaperformingarts.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Artist_Application_YPAC.pdf.
