Tip-A-Hero and Help Support Yucaipa’s Annual Make A Difference Day

By on October 14, 2018

Although Yucaipa’s Make a Difference Day will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Yucaipa’s Police Department deputies and the local Cal Fire firefighters will be holding a special fundraising event, Tip-A-Hero, later that same day to help raise funds to benefit Make A Difference Day.

Tip-A-Hero will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27 and will feature your local first responders serving up delicious food at Jose’s Mexican Food at 33527 Yucaipa Blvd. in Yucaipa. The tips you provide these first responders will be donated to Yucaipa’s Make a Difference Day.

The first Make a Difference Day was held in 1992 in an effort to begin a nationwide movement to form work groups to help improve local communities with just a few hours of worktime by thousands of individuals.
