Sign-Up Now for Yucaipa’s Next CERT Training to Aid the Community in Disasters
If becoming trained to assist your fellow residents in the event of a disaster is on your “want to do” list, now is the time to sign-up for Yucaipa’s upcoming Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training program. CERT training helps to prepares people in the event of a disaster to not only help themselves but also to assist their family and neighbors.
By becoming CERT trained you acquire the skills to assist others, potentially save lives, and help protect property. During a major disaster or incident, emergency service personnel will not be able to reach everyone immediately. CERT volunteers can provide assistance until emergency personnel become available.
CERT volunteers and groups in various cities are known and trusted resources to emergency responders and their communities. As a trained member of CERT, you may respond to disasters, participate in drills and exercises, and assistance with various city events.

- Friday, September 27 5 to 9 p.m.
- Saturday, September 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
