The Yucaipa Branch Library, one of 32 libraries in the San Bernardino County (SBC) Libraries system, has announced several holiday, fun-filled activities for children in December. Don’t miss the chance for your children to continue reading during the busy holiday season. Visiting the library for these fun activities will help your children to learn more about holiday customs and traditions as well as help keep them to keep reading to avoid the “I’m bored” refrain during the holidays.

Monday, Dec 9 is an especially special day at the Yucaipa Branch Library. Santa Claus is scheduled to make a visit to the Yucaipa Library at 3:00 p.m. In addition to listening to a holiday story and creating some holiday crafts to take home, Santa will be there to greet children and ensure a fun-filled afternoon.

On both Dec. 10 and 17 (both are Tuesdays) younger children and home-schooled kids can participate in an 11 a.m. holiday book and craft session. Children can listen to a special holiday themed story and a then make a whimsical and festive craft to take home.
