San Bernardino County’s Footsteps2Brillance Summer Reading Challenge Now Underway
Families in San Bernardino County (SBC) with children between the ages of 0 to five years of age are encouraged to sign-up and participate in the Footsteps2Brillance 2nd Annual Summer Reading Challenge 2019. The program is now underway through Sept. 10.
SBC Superintendent of Schools Ted Alejandre and the SBC Literacy Partners have invited families to register for this summer literacy program which can be downloaded through the free Foosteps2Brilliance app on their Apple or Android smartphones, tablets, or computers. Spending just 15 minutes each day will provide early reading skills for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.
The registration process is easy. Register at: www.myf2b.com/register/SanBernardinoCounty. Then download the app and you’re ready to begin a journey of early literacy skills. Mention the Foosteps2Brilliance Summer Reading Challenge at the Reading Rally event on September 10, 2019 to receive a free book; more information on this event will follow later this summer.
The Footsteps2Brillance 2nd Annual Summer Reading Challenge 2019 supports the San Bernardino Countywide #Vision2Read initiative. In addition to the SBC Superintendent of Schools and the SBC Literacy Partners, the SBC Preschool Services, Children’s Fund and First 5 San Bernardino endorse this unique learning opportunity. For additional information regarding this program contact the SBC Superintendent of School office at: 909-888-3228.
