S.T.A.R.S. Registration Opens for 2019/2020 Academic School Year
Even though summer is just now starting to really heat up it’s time for families with school-aged children to face the reality – school for the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District (YCJUSD) begins in less than three weeks. The first day of school is Thursday, Aug. 8.
In addition to shopping for school supplies, school clothes, new backpacks, purchasing appropriate foods for school lunches and confirming transportation to-and-from school, many parents of elementary and middle school students will need to make the necessary before and/or after school care plans. A well-known option in Yucaipa is the Science, Technology, Arts, Recreation for Success (S.T.A.R.S.) program.
Registration for S.T.A.R.S. 2019/2020 school year is now open. The S.T.A.R.S. program will be held at the following schools for the coming school year: Calimesa Elementary, Chapman Heights Elementary, Dunlap Elementary, Inland Leaders Charter School, Mesa View Middle, Park View Middle, Ridgeview elementary, Valley Elementary and Wildwood Elementary.
