City and Crafton Hills College partner to offer Accounting and Quickbooks classes
Small business owner? Starting a new business? Looking to brush-up on business skills?
The City of Yucaipa & Crafton Hills College (CHC) are partnering to provide students and local entrepreneurs with instruction in Accounting and Quickbooks instruction this fall.
Instructors from CHC will share their expertise and of high-quality, college-level curriculum at an affordable rate to enhance Yucaipa’s small business community.
The class, Small Business Accounting and Quickbooks, begins Tuesday, Sept. 10 and will continue on Tuesdays through Sept. 24 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Class fee is $55.00 for Yucaipa residents.
Accounting and QuickBooks for small business is an introduction into accounting practices and the integration of QuickBooks to manage, track and organize your business. The course introduces basic accounting principles, while including topics on the accounting cycle, financial accounting statements, bank reconciliation, payroll, and cash flow. The course is designed to give students a thorough background in the basic accounting procedures used to effectively operate a business.
Courses will be held at the Yucaipa Business Incubator at 34282 Yucaipa Blvd, Yucaipa in the newly renovated classroom and lab space.
