If you’re looking for a way to get a photo of Fido or Fluffy with Santa Claus this year, look no further. The Yucaipa Animal Placement Society (YAPS) is hosting a “Paws & Claus” pet portrait event on Saturday, Nov. 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the YAPS facility at 11937 13th Street in Yucaipa.

The pet portrait event will include a portrait sitting and a digital copy of your pet with Santa courtesy of Christy Earls Photography of Redlands. A $25 donation is request for the portrait event as a fundraiser for PAWS. Other activities at the event for you and your pet include an onsite bake sale, a paw ornament station and a raffle.

YAPS is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization and is a no kill animal shelter that works to prevent the euthanasia of dogs and cats in shelters throughout the region. YAPS provides these animals with a temporary safe haven until a permanent, loving home can be found.

All proceeds from the “Paws & Claus” event will go directly to the YAPS shelter to benefit the homeless pets in temporary residence at the YAPS facility. To make an appointment for your pet portrait on Nov. 25 call YAPS at 909-790-1440.
