The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Returns to Yucaipa Little Theater

By on October 6, 2018

Horse hoofs pounding the ground in the dead of night, a headless horseman galloping by and new headmaster Ichabod Crane tries to win the heart of Katrina Van Tassel. The classic story of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow returns to the Yucaipa Little Theater (YLT) this month for its second annual run.

Young and old alike will laugh at Ichabod’s attempts to woo Miss Katrina and cower, just a little bit, as the headless Hessian soldier from the Revolutionary War frightens the community one more time – or so the superstition goes. The classic tale is being directed by YLT veterans Brandon Thatcher and Becky Mertes. Kaylee Mertes will serve as stage manager and will be aided by Leah Holden as assistant stage manager. Also on hand to create the classic Halloween production will be Makena Stanley directing choreography and Kim Lungstrom designing costumes.
