Do you have to return to work on Wednesday, Dec. 26? What about Wednesday, Jan 2? Whether you like it or not many folks have to return to reality the day after the upcoming holidays. Work and Jobs beckon and those with children may be in need of a safe and fun place for the kids to spend the day.
The solution for needed childcare may be the city of Yucaipa’s Winter Camp. Registration is still open for both sessions of Winter Camp. You can register your kids for one or the other of the two sessions or you can sign the kids up for both sessions.
Session one will be held Wednesday Dec. 26 through Friday, Dec. 28; Session two will run Wednesday Jan. 2 through Friday, Jan. 4. Both sessions are available from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The program is open for children from the ages of transition kindergarten through eighth grade.
The program features age-appropriate sports, art, games and crafts plus the opportunity to make friends with other children who do not attend the same school as your youngster(s). Fees for each three-day session is $75.00; TK/Kindergartners are $81 per child who is a Yucaipa resident. For non-residents who wish to enroll their children in Yucaipa’s Winter Camp a 30 percent non-resident fee applies.
Registration is still open for either session of Winter Camp and can be accepted online at www.yucaipa.org or can be completed in person at the Yucaipa Community Center at 34900 Oak Glen Road. For questions regarding this fun-filled winter camp experience for your kid(s) call: 909-790-7460.
