Parade Registration Now Open for the Yucaipa Christmas Parade
The ghosts and goblins, along with princesses and baby sharks, haven’t yet appeared on your doorstep for Halloween, it’s already time to begin to register for the 65th annual Yucaipa Christmas Parade. The parade date for 2019 is Saturday, Dec. 14 beginning at 12 p.m.
Registration can be completed online at: http://www.yucaiparotary.org/YUCAIPACHRISTMASPARADE.html. Copies of the registration form can be downloaded at: http://www.yucaiparotary.org/Registration_to_print_from_2019.pdf. Hard copies, i.e. old-fashioned paper registration is also available at the Yucaipa Chamber of Commerce office at: 35139 Yucaipa Blvd. in Yucaipa.
The parade features four primary entry categories: equestrian; school or other bands, car clubs and other. Each category requests identification of either the number of people in the group or the size of the group (i.e. the number of cars in your car club.) The registration for also requests a brief description of your entry and whether you have previous participated in the Yucaipa Christmas Parade.
Entrants will receive a confirmation postcard within 10 days of receiving your application. Final parade logistics and your line-up position number will be mailed to you two weeks prior to the parade. All entries are encouraged to include Christmas music in their entry.
So – now is the time to plan for your entry into the Yucaipa Christmas Parade and submit your registration. If you’re not participating in a parade entry for this long-standing Yucaipa tradition you need to mark your calendars now to help line the streets on Dec. 14.
