Bring Your Children to the Kid’s Costume Contest at City Hall on Monday, Oct. 22

By on October 20, 2018

Rain may have canceled portions of the last weekend’s Autumnfest but it didn’t dampen the spirits of our local children for Halloween. With this in mind a special “Kid’s Costume Contest” will take place during the Special Presentation section of the City Council meeting – prior to the formal City Council –meeting on Monday, Oct. 22.

All ghosts, goblins, princesses, Jedis, superheroes and all manner of costumed children, ages 12 and under, must arrive by 5:30 p.m. in costume at City Hall at 34272 Yucaipa Boulevard in Yucaipa. The costume contest will take place in the Council Chambers beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Contestants will be placed in age groups and will parade through the Council Chambers during the event.  Plan to stay after the event when the winners are announced at 6:00 p.m.!
